She also shared photos and videos of her new boyfriend,
Cody Simpson, coming to visit her with roses — and even serenading her with his guitar. “this sweeeeeet guy came to visit at the hospital and sang the sweeeeeetest song he just wrote for me,” she wrote, adding a black heart emoji.

The 26-year-old singer began sharing updates from the hospital on Tuesday, writing that she’s “trying to heal as quick as I can.” According to USA Today,
Cyrus has been hospitalized for tonsillitis. (Representatives for Cyrus didn’t immediately respond to Insider’s request for comment.)
Cyrus is scheduled to perform at Gorillapalooza on Saturday, a
charity concert organized by Ellen DeGeneres’ The Ellen Fund to raise money for gorilla conservation.

She also shared two mirror selfies: one with her mother, Tish Cyrus, and another to show off her redesigned “punk rock baby doll halter” hospital gown.

Simpson also shared a video of the song on his Instagram story, in which Cyrus proclaims, “my favorite song ever.”
